Utne-Jondal-Odda-Bergen

Today I did a little roundtrip on the island. Very nice. Near Jondal was a village with a lot of fruittrees. All covered with plastic roofs. Must be needed because of strong rain and hailstorms or so.

Went back to the mainland to end up waiting for over an hour because of roadworks.
Road was really closed. Smart kids came to sell coffee and wafles. Smart! After some time one of the roadworkers walked by. Looking at my car (top down, weather was ok, 17 degrees Celsius and some sun every now and then). We started to alk and he told me why the road was closed.... The road needed to be wider so his colleagues were playing with explosives

i drove on after that, the rain started again. I wanted to go as quick as possible to Bergen. So the fastest road chosen. Not real nice, but I wanted to meet Jos who was on his bike in Bergen already early afternoon.

We had a drink checked in at the hotel and walked to the harbour. Very well chosen hotel, only 5minutes walk to where you want to be. The fishmarkets with restaurants were smiling to us, but we first headed to a pub to have a drink. Nice singer was playing piano and singing. Then we choose a restaurant (thank you tripadvisor) and had an excellent fishmeal.

A good start for travelling together for 4,5 days.
