August 18th, Cumberland to Port Hardy

18 augustus 2018 - Port Hardy, Canada

After breakfast in Cumberland I wanted to find a nice place where I could work on this blog. Didn't have time for it till today. I found a great place at the seaside, with WiFi, where I stayed about 3 hours to update lots of pictures and some video's. And write the first stories.

After that I had to drive over 3 hours to Port Hardy. The northernmost town of Vancouver Island. Here I will stay 2 nights. Because I will pass this town anyway when I drive back south. Very nice drive, good weather, about 21-24 degrees Celsius. And almost clear, so good views.

Saw some deer on the road. Unfortunately no elk, moose or bears 🙄

Tomorrow I will explore the northern part of the Island. Only dirt roads as I understood.
We will see. At least there are much less visitors here, and tomorrow eveneens I suppose. So maybe a good opportunity to see wildlife.
