August 22nd, An unexpected long travel day

After another great breakfast at the guesthouse I started driving. Expecting to be in Tofino around 15.00. But after an hour drive, wanting to enter highway 1 (trans Canada Hwy) everyone had to turn around. As I heard on the radio, the whole highway was closed both. ways because of a terrible accident.

So a long detour was required, unless I wanted to wait 6-8 hours. No... I don't want!
