Hirtshals - Stavanger

Woke up early, rain pooring down. After a good breakfast I drove to the seaside. Nice, you could drive your car on the beach! Impossible in the Netherlands. Then to the ferry for the 10 o'clock crossing to Kristiansand.

Ferry went on time, but as soon we were at sea it was announced that we would have half an hour delay (on a 2,25 hour corssing) because of the strong wind. No problem to me, but I really had to read all the time, because a lot of people were seasick. I only become sick when watching people being seasick, But a good book kept my view away from them.

After arriving in Kristiansand I made my way to Mandal to pick up the book my friend left there and went on to Stavanger. I took the shortest way to be there end of the afternoon to meet my friend. A nice drive but my way back will have some scenic routes included.

Stavanger is a nice city. Although it's high season, it wasn't that busy. We had some food and a nice drink on a terrace. Went to sleep early because it were real long traveldays.

He started in Middelburg and is going anti clockwise. He was in Stavanger now. After a little over a month biking. So it was great to see him again. Some people call ME crazy ???
