On the 12th Jos and Doug (one of the riders of the great divide, whom we met at the bike repairshop) went to Banff and the started the first stage of the tour, which is not allowed to doing it with a group.

I went to see the hotsprings at Banff. See picture, not very impressive. There was a pool with hotspringwater. Hot springs in Iceland are much nicer. After that I went to Sprays Lakes. Very nice lakes. I took pictures from some mountaingoats, I thought at that time. It turned out to be Mountain sheep. Very nice drive and I saw Jos and Doug when they came down the mountains on the same gravelroad as I was driving.

On the 13th we did nothing special, lazy last day before departure for Jos. great lunch in Canmore. Meeting the other riders at 17.00 and last dinner together for about 8 weeks.

    'Hotsprings in IJsland are much nicer': IJsland heeft jou ook wel verwend! Leuk die bergschapen op de weg.

    Heel mooi ,ziet er geweldig uit. hoe gaat het met Jos en het fietsen? Kan je dat ook in beeld brengen, misschien leuk om een link naar wtc de hellen te maken. Kan vast wel.

    Hoi Paul, gisteravond Jos gesproken. Hij gaat goed. Eerste 3 dagen waren ok. Nu 2 hele zware dagen gehad. Was nu in een hotel na 4 nachten camping en bushcamp. Dan vaak geen of slechte WiFi dus hooguit even whatsapp contact. Laatste 2 dagen heel rotsig, riviertjes om over te steken dus ook echt sjouwen met fiets. Dus niet altijd een mooi mtb pad. Jos heeft ook een blog, tot nu toe alleen foto’s geplaatst. joscoppelmans.reislogger.nl
    Als hij foto’s plaatst krijg je geen mail, ook al heb je een mailadres achtergelaten wel als hij verhaaltje schrijft. Ik kan daar echter niet naar linken of zo. Dus regelmatig checken is het handigst.
